Review of MoonShy By Victoria Blisse
I was sent Moonshy by Victoria Blisse in return for an honest and unbiased review. It arrived just in time to be added to my collection of Halloween themed reviews.
For those who want to purchase Moonshy, it’s available from Amazon Kindle for just £2.56 and can be downloaded to your device in minutes.
According to the MoonShy blurb:
Lowell is a werewolf. Desdemona is a werewolf. That is where the similarities end.
Desdemona takes great joy in the full moon. She maims and kills with enthusiasm and wishes she could be a werewolf every day. Lowell hates what he is. He wishes that the full moon would only come around once in a million years.
Jenny is a sweet girl who often acts before she thinks, especially when a man is involved. She finds herself between these two werewolves. She loves Lowell, he was her school crush way back when. Desdemona is her superior and makes her working life a misery.
But which werewolf will have Jenny in the end? Will Desdemona succeed in killing her during the full moon, or will Lowell be able to keep her safe and in the dark about his horrific secret? It comes down to a fight between two werewolves, one Moon lover and one MoonShy. Who will win?
I enjoyed the story and relished the twists and turns in Victoria’s dark plot, it certainly got me through a noisy morning at a children’s play centre. Like all Vicky’s characters, she works hard to really bring them to life and it’s not all about the sex scenes. They all brought a history with them which was explored within the tale.
It was an interesting read and one that meant I couldn’t stop from turning the pages. I loved the uncertainty surrounding the relationship between Desmonda, Lowell and Jenny and whether Lowell would succumb to his overwhelming animalistic instincts and if Desmonda would finally get her kill.
I enjoyed MoonShy and at £2.56 I found it to be an absolute bargain.
Snap up your copy of MoonShy folks, it’s a brilliant Halloween read.
